has been real busy for the past week. Staying up late in the office till 10 plus, preparing documents for buy meeting, endless emails to attend to and tons of workload on-hand! Whoah.. I needa slow down and take a breathe. Probably slow down and go for a holiday or smt. Have been wanting to go Bali this december to relaxed myself and indulge but Baby has plans for Genting. Wells, I wouldn’t mind, I just hope and crossed my fingers that he’s all up for the planning. =)
My first time meeting my buyer, she’s really nice and funny, blonde, loves hard rock metal and soft toys (ps: no idea how can hard rock mixed with soft toys???) – to sum up, she is THE most easiest buyer to handle, there are more nasty ones than her! I’m too glad to mentioned that. Baby has reached Tioman, can’t wait for him to come back and I’ve taken leave for him when he’s back! We got and made my buyer a survival kit and all the stuff we bought was really well thought of is really what she will need for her S’pore trip. Lots of drama from my Big big boss. She’s just hilarious to even talk about. Always as competitive as ever, when she saw the survival kit we gotten for Missi (my buyer), she got all worked up and told Missi that she has too got her own survival kit for her. We were all like – OMG, please, give us a break! She tried to drag my buyer out of the conference room and into her room. We were all busy with the pricing and couldn’t be bother of what whe will be up to. The very next moment, Missi came back into the room with a huge bag of stuff. It was the worst “survival kit” we have seen. More of a – “last-minute-to-prepare-my-junk-souvenirs-from-some-wulu-countries-as-a-gift”. She’s just out of her mind for doing that and to our fear, she actually loaded a gigantic load of Toblerone chocolate into one of the handbags. My boss was really funny, she wanted to know how heavy was the choc and actually went to weight it with our Fedex package weighting machine! Damn funny, it was a mere 750grams of choc okay. Crazy woman indeed.. how more competitive can she get? More of her competitive stories to hear from me if you guys want to know. LoL! As usual for Missi’s trip, they have always plan before hand a nice place to bring her for dinner. It went from Demspey – Jumbo to S’pore Flyer’s – Seafood Paradise and ended up at The Line – Shangri-La Hotel where it’s the nearest asmy buyer is too tired to travel any further for dinner. Poor thing, she needed to catch her early flight back to NY the very next morning. The food at The Line was great – more of a International buffet – of which I have always like, more of a variety to choose from I guess. =) Lots of catching-up with one of our ex colleauge with laughters, gossipings of my Big big boss was just out of our limits. Hahaha.. And one thing i have realised is the the restraurant actually placed a tiny little box at every table and guess what is the usage of the box? Have any idea? Initially we didn’t but found out that it was a cute little take-away for gummies, awww.. how sweet! =) Sure a cute and thoughtful way for kids of their marketing right? Needless to say, the price per pax is also very whoah… hehe. I enjoyed my square at the dinner and a warm way to show our appreciation for our buyer. =) She’s just unbelievable to mention. Pics will be up soon if say i have the time, till den.
